The development of social and emotional skills (SES) is an essential component of students’ overall well-being, academic success, and personal development. This study seeks to analyze the impact of the Acciona artistic program on the development of SES among students in public schools in the Arica y Parinacota region of Chile, with the aim of understanding its contribution to students’ holistic well-being. A convergent mixed-methods approach was employed, triangulating perception surveys administered to students, questionnaires completed by artist-educators, analysis of pedagogical practice booklets, and a pre-post evaluation using the standardized Integral Learning Diagnostic (DIA) test in its socioemotional dimension. The results showed significant positive changes in participants’ SES, with consistency between the qualitative data and the quantified progress observed in the DIA test. The study concludes that Acciona has a positive influence on students' socioemotional development through arts-based educational strategies supported by multidimensional evidence, thus providing an effective framework for educational policies focused on holistic well-being in vulnerable contexts.
